Sashi Mahtani is a Senior Partner and co-founder of Breakwater Forensics LLC. Sashi specializes in the investigation and resolution of business disputes, primarily related to the construction and government contracts industries. He has also provided construction oversight and management services for on-going construction projects. Sashi has consulted on behalf of construction companies, government contractors, subcontractors, owners, program managers, architects, engineers, and insurance companies.

Sashi has performed schedule delay, acceleration, cost overrun, and productivity analyses on a variety of projects including wind farms, power plants, condominiums, hotels, airports, manufacturing plants, sports stadiums, nuclear waste remediation sites, retail buildings, and others. Sashi has extensive experience in performing Critical Path Method (CPM) analyses to determine the critical path of a project and the duration and causes of project delays. Work has included the evaluation of numerous causes of delays and cost overruns including abnormal weather, non-conforming work, late material deliveries, late and incomplete design, changed work, labor shortages, force majeure events, differing site conditions, labor inefficiencies, and others. Sashi has assisted both owners and contractors with change order review, project controls implementation, and construction management services. Sashi has also authored expert reports and provided assistance during arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
