He previously worked for a large international accounting firm and several large consulting firms. Joe has served as the Project Auditor or Project Accountant on large construction projects where he independently monitored and verified the cost and schedule of construction projects. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois and a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Joe has guest lectured on forensic accounting at the University of Illinois.
